There is nothing worse than you being outside in nature and noticing that one of your friends was bitten by a snake. There are some things you can do to prevent this from happening. Snakes like areas that provide shade, so avoid flipping over rocks, logs, etc., and also watch every step when walking through the bush.

We recommend that before you go out hiking/camping, do a little research and check what kinds of venomous snakes could be in that area, so you can be prepared if it strikes.
